Tracking & Reparo
Introducing Reparo
A private companion app for men working to recover erectile function — built with urologists to make a gradual journey clearer and more manageable.
The Challenge
The Problem
Most men go through ED recovery without a map. Erectile dysfunction is common, physical, and highly treatable — whether it follows prostate cancer treatment or arrives alongside a new diagnosis like diabetes, high blood pressure, or vascular disease. Either way, men are often sent home with a prescription and little else: no structured plan, no way to tell whether things are improving, and few clear answers.
Recovery works best as an active, guided process — a real rehabilitation protocol to follow, regular check-ins you can watch trend in the right direction, and a solid understanding of every option, from first-line pills to advanced treatments. And if the day comes that you and your urologist consider a penile implant, insurers require proof that conservative treatments were tried first — a record Reparo builds quietly in the background, so it's ready without ever becoming your focus.
What Is Reparo?
Recovering erectile function — whether after prostate cancer treatment or from another cause — is usually gradual, and it's hard to tell whether things are improving when you're living it one day at a time. Reparo is built to make that journey clearer.
Designed with urologists, it gives you a trustworthy, supportive place to track your progress, keep a record of the treatments you've tried, learn about your condition through a physician-reviewed education library, and prepare for appointments so you and your care team can make decisions together — based on real information rather than guesswork.
ED is common and treatable, and recovery takes time. Reparo is meant to be a steady companion through that process — a private space that's yours, that meets you where you are, and that helps you and your care team work as a team.
Reparo supports your care — it doesn't replace it. Always talk with your doctor about your treatment and any concerns.
What's Inside
Everything you need for the journey
Penile Rehabilitation
Consistency is everything in rehab. Reparo lays out the daily protocol clinicians recommend — PDE5 dosing and vacuum-device sessions — and makes logging each day quick, so the routine holds through the months that matter most. Watch your day-to-day consistency build and bring that record to your urologist.
Progress Tracking
Take a quick SHIM or EHS check-in and Reparo charts it over time, against your pre-treatment score as a recovery target. Instead of guessing, you see the trend — encouragement that the work is paying off, and a clear signal when it's time to adjust with your urologist.
Treatment Log
Record oral medications, vacuum-device sessions, and injections as you go — doses, dates, and how you responded — organized along the standard treatment ladder, so you and your urologist can see what's been tried and what's working.
Share With Your Care Team
One tap turns your history into a clean summary — diagnosis, score trends, and treatments tried — to hand your urologist. It's also the documentation insurers look for before advanced options, ready the moment you need it.
Education Library
A genuinely comprehensive library written by a urologist: what causes ED, how every treatment actually works — pills, injections, vacuum devices, shockwave, implants — and what recovery after surgery or radiation really looks like. Plain language, no jargon, free to browse.
Private by Design
Your information is encrypted and locked behind Face ID. You control your record and decide who it's shared with. HIPAA-compliant safeguards are actively being established.
Tracking Progress — and Why It Matters
Recovery is rarely a straight line. Day to day, change is hard to see — but over time, your check-ins tell a story worth paying attention to.
It reveals the real trend
A single tough day can feel discouraging, and a single good one can feel like more than it is. Checking in regularly, you stop judging recovery by any one moment and start seeing the real trend — usually steadier and more encouraging than it feels in the moment.
It turns something hard to describe into something you can act on
ED is personal and sensitive, and hard to put into words at an appointment. Validated tools — the SHIM questionnaire and erection-hardness check-ins — translate how you're doing into clear information, making conversations with your care team easier and more productive.
It helps your care team help you
Your tracked progress gives your doctor a real picture of how treatment is working — so they can fine-tune your plan: adjust a medication, change the timing, add or swap a therapy, or decide the next step together.
It reveals what's working
Patterns become visible over time. During penile rehabilitation in particular, consistency matters, and tracking helps you stay engaged with the routine your care team recommended.
It keeps you motivated
Progress that comes slowly is hard to feel; seeing small improvements add up in your own check-ins can be genuinely encouraging.
Your numbers are a tool, not a grade. Recovery looks different for every man, and a lower check-in one week doesn't mean you've failed — it's simply information. Bring your tracked progress to your appointments so you and your care team can use it together. And if the process is weighing on you emotionally, that's common and worth mentioning too.

The SHIM Score: Measuring Your Progress
The Sexual Health Inventory for Men (SHIM), also known as the IIEF-5, is a validated five-question survey that quantifies erectile function on a scale of 1–25. Tracking your SHIM score over time provides objective evidence of treatment response and recovery trajectory.
Each of the five questions is scored 0–5, covering erection confidence, erection firmness during intercourse, maintenance ability, completion difficulty, and overall satisfaction.
22–25
Normal function
17–21
Mild ED
8–16
Moderate ED
1–7
Severe ED
Why Track It?
Subjective perception of erectile function is unreliable — men tend to underestimate gradual improvements. Monthly SHIM assessments create a data trail that helps clinicians adjust medications, confirm rehab progress, and document medical necessity for insurance purposes.
A 4-point improvement in SHIM score is considered clinically meaningful — the difference between "it's not working" and "I notice real improvement."
Reparo generates a ready-to-share summary your care team can review at a glance.

The Erection Hardness Score (EHS)
The Erection Hardness Score (EHS) is a simple, validated way to rate the firmness of an erection. Where the SHIM asks five questions about your erectile function over the past several months, the EHS captures one thing in the moment: how hard was it? It takes seconds, and it's one of the most widely used measures in erectile-function research and practice.
How to Score Yourself Honestly
Think about a typical recent erection and pick the single grade that best describes it. There's no partial credit and no 'in between' — choose the closest fit. The goal isn't to score well; it's to capture an accurate snapshot so your trend means something. A Grade 3 you log honestly is far more useful than a Grade 4 you talked yourself into.
Why the EHS and the SHIM Work Together
The two measure different things, and that's the point. The SHIM gives you a broad, multi-question picture of erectile function over time — the kind of validated score your care team uses to gauge severity and track change across months. The EHS gives you a fast, in-the-moment read on firmness that's easy to log often. Used together, they tell a fuller story: the SHIM for the big-picture trend, the EHS for the quick check-ins in between.
During penile rehabilitation in particular, the EHS is a handy way to notice early, gradual change — the shift from a Grade 2 toward a Grade 3, for instance, can be an encouraging early signal even before your SHIM moves much.
Your recovery deserves a real plan.
